The learning Space is an on-line learning community in Washington state. It's website offers an integrated learning experience that encourages students to actively employ a step-by-step process to effectively use the web for research.

The Campbell Soup program is the granddaddy of label-type fundraisers. The current program has evolved to include not only soup labels, but those from a variety of food items. Labels can be redeemed for items including computer equipment and software, library materials, playground equipment child care supplies, food service equipment and transportation equipment.


General Mills Boxtops 4 Education
General Mills Box Tops for Education was designed for success. It's simple, involving, fun, family-friendly and, above all, it helps you earn cash for the things your school really needs. If everyone does their part, you can earn up to $10,000 to pay for school programs, materials, supplies or equipment, which really comes in handy these days with rising costs and shrinking budgets.


NSTA Teacher and Student Awards

WEB66: A Road for Teachers Along the Information Highway
Just as U.S. Highway Route 66 was a catalyst for Americana, we see the World Wide Web as a catalyst that will integrate the Internet into K12 school curricula. The Web66 project is designed to facilitate the introduction of this technology into K12 schools.


Detwiler "Computers for Schools" Program
Now student in 30 states can benefit from the Detwiler Foundation's computer stash. Previously limited the California schools, the program channels computer equipment, donated by corporations to schools to arm students with knowledge for future technology challenges they may face. Summer Technology Opportunities for Teachers Online
Educators looking for summer courses, seminars and on-line training relating to technology in the classroom may want to visit a new site on the Education Department's WWW home page. The Office of Educational Technology has created a site that provides a state-by-state listing of training opportunities offered by a variety of public and private sector entities. Teachers can also perform a search to find all training services related to a specific topic.
